In May 2020 i had the pleasure to organize a piano duo concert series at the Loft Cologne. My second guest was pianist Christian Lorenzen. He presented an electro-acoustic setup he has developed between prepared piano and modular synthesizer. With contact loudspeakers the electronic sounds are "fed" into the acoustic grand piano. The result is a gripping, hybrid mesh of percussive sounds, organic layers and feedback loops.

And again many thanks to Benedikt Müller and the Loft crew for keeping up the spirit and making this possible.
