In May 2020 i had the luck of being invited to organize a piano duo concert series at the Loft Cologne. For the first concert out of three i had the pleasure to b joined by my former mentor and friend, Paulo Alvares. Paulo is one of the central figures in the New Music scene and developed an original and virtuous improvisation style on the piano, which is strongly connected to contemporary music. He worked with Mauricio Kagel, Luciano Berio, Tristan Murail, Gerhard Stäbler, Jonathan Harvey, Dieter Schnabel, Hans Zender and Peter Eötvös.
